Home / SMRT Buses, Singapore (before GCM/BCM) / Nissan Diesel U31RCN / City Shuttle Service (CSS) 3

These buses served with the Singapore Shuttle Bus till its very end, under the City Shuttle Service (CSS). On 28 April 2007, the final remaining route 608 was to end and the last bus serving it was a Nissan U31RCN. Apart from one Dennis Lance, these buses outlasted the European Hispano-bodied DAF SB220, many which were sold to New Zealand.

Even so, their legacy still survives to an extent as these buses were brought over to SMRT Buses and repainted in SMRT livery for continued service. While a few of them were re-registered earlier under the TIB-prefix, SMRT decided to retain the CSS-prefix for the remaining buses that were transferred over.
