A Singapore Bus Enthusiast website since 2004 with photos and information about SG Bus (consisting of SBS Transit, SMRT Buses, Go Ahead Singapore and Tower Transit Singapore under Transperth-based GCM/BCM), public buses abroad, as well as railway photography. Most flip-dot EDS have a life cycle of approximately 100,000 hours, which by then a complete replacement is required. Advances in technology have since made LED-based signs cheaper, and large amounts of O405G Habits had their original EDS replaced with Mobitec MobiDOTs which did not require the use of any moving parts.
