The last two Dennis Lance chassis delivered to Trans-Island in 2000 was built by UMW-Dennis in Malaysia. They were fitted with Volgren CR221 bodywork and Lawo Luminator Europa (now LAWO) Aluma EDS, with its interior distinctly different from its Duple Metsec counterparts.
The two buses were powered by the Cummins 6CTA8.3 engine (8,268cc) that is Euro II compliant and rated at 245hp, and fitted with 4-speed ZF 4HP500 automatic transmission. Air-conditioning was supplied by Denso of Japan. From 2012 these two buses were utilized as permanent training buses. Both units were retired from service since April 2013; they were the youngest buses in the TIBS-era fleet to be prematurely scrapped.
