Charter division of SMRT Buses. First began operations in 1994 as a subsidiary of Trans-Island Bus Services (TIBS), offering a business-class shuttle minibus service between private/landed property neighborhoods and the CBD. SBS Leisure in 1995 also began offering a rival minibus service known as Citylink Direct, but subsequently ceased operations in the early-2000s.
Bus-Plus has since evolved to operate premium bus services, hospital shuttle bus services, ad-hoc bus chartering and the IKEA free shuttle service. To fulfill specific demand, a handful of Dennis Lance buses were utilized in addition to its majority of minibuses.
In 2014, Bus-Plus was also awarded various Peak Period Short Service (PPSS) routes by LTA. To replace its existing aging fleet and satisfy operational requirements for these new PPSS routes, Bus-Plus brought in a new fleet of minibuses through a strategy of both purchase and leasing.
