Front-to-rear interior view (Original)

The B10M Strider in its original configuration has seats for 50 passengers, and total capacity of 86. The original interior has grey air-con ducts and bench seats with blue seat covers.

Front-to-rear interior view (Fully refurbished)

Refurbished buses have a revised seating capacity of 48, and can carry a total of 84 passengers. One row of seat on the right is removed for extra legroom. The new seat colors are yellow in colour and have red air-con ducts.

Rear-to-front interior view (Original)

TV Mobile was installed on the B10M Striders. The original air-con ducts were squarish and could be adjusted by the passengers via a toggle.

Rear-to-front interior view (Yellow seat covers)

The B10M Strider is the last single-deck bus model operated by SBS Transit to have bells placed on the side window panels. The elevated step between the seats and aisle made creation of a dedicated standing area unsuitable.

Some refurbished buses with red air-con ducts are adjusted by rotating the "eyeball" vent instead. A few of them even have their originally rounded hand grips replaced with a newer type that is triangular shaped.

Tickets are issued via the farecard validator on the right. The other validator on the left hand side was removed with the introduction of the Ez-link card.

Front interior section (Fully refurbished)

The vintage "Bus Stopping" and "Doors Closing" signs were supplied by S-Light (now LECIP). Service guide ranks can be found near the front door of some B10M Striders.

Right side-facing seats (Original)

The side-facing seating over the right wheel arch can fit up to three persons.

Left side-facing seats (Refurbished)

The side-facing seating over the left wheel arch can seat two persons.

Air-con unit and ventilation fan

The square roof-mounted ventilation fans in the interior are usually not in operation, and are last featured on this model. Unlike other single-deckers, the air-conditioning unit for B10Ms are positioned at the rear of the bus.

Emergency exit

The B10M Strider is also the last single decker to have a rear emergency exit.

VIN Plate (B10M Strider)

The Walter Alexander bodywork is delivered in complete knock down (CKD) form and then assembled locally by Singapore Bus Services.
