Home / Transperth, Perth, Western Australia / Renault PR180.2 [82]

The Renault PR180.2 is the articulated version of the PR100.2 that was built in Lyon, France that saw popular service in cities of Australia. All units are non air-conditioned, have only two doors and bodied by JWBolton. The design was unique in the sense that the bus was powered through both the centre and rear axles.

These units were powered by the 280hp Renault MIPR 06.20.45 engine and fitted with Voith DIWA D864.4SR1 4-speed automatic transmission. The first unit was delivered in 1988. A majority of these buses are deployed for peak-hour running.
